Look great! And this subject is very interesting. It's a pensil or a pen?

Thank you. :) I suggest you research the works of William Blake and Francisco Goya(as the subject matter pertains to their style and thought processes). It's pencil with watercolour.

You do?! Squon, you're a dream come true :D His interpretations of the supernatural are far more appealing though. That being said, Blake and Goya are two of my favorite painters. :D

I've done my own little rendition of the ghost of the flea: [link]
I'm most interested by his hallucinations with the flea and with angels. Ach, he's such a good painter. And poet! He's one of my favorite people.

Oh, but this is not a painting of that vision. I depicted an instance in which Blake was visited by Voltaire, Moses, and that same flea. Also I do not doubt that he observed these supernatural creatures(his colleagues provide some evidence supporting his visions), for such things exist, but I do, however, wonder why he took to them with such enthusiasm. :P I didn't know the flea(or the daemon assuming the form of a 'flea') spoke! horrible little thing. I'd have painted him alone had Blake not already perfected his image.

Yeah, I see that. I think he took to it with enthusiasm because he believed they were real. I mean, I think I heard somewhere that the angels would sometimes tell him the poems and he would write them down.
Yeah, the flea would speak to him and at times it would just be in his house. It had been haunting him since childhood.
