i honestly can't blame the man. ever since 1969, he's been:

  1. forced to split up with scooby while fred plays hide the strudel with the girls.

  2. he always and i do mean ALWAYS bumps into the freakin monster and gets chased by it.

  3. finally, he and scooby end up being LIVE BAIT to catch the damn thing only for the plan to go wrong and in the end, shaggy and scooby end up SAVING the rest of them. as for the ghouls they know they weren't going to hurt him, but he doesn't know that.
